I have not heard that but you can easily sign up for a free pay per click detection service to track fraud yourself with all of your ppc campaigns.

Something is definately up with Kanoodle. I used them like a year ago and they were affordable and sent decent traffic. It still wasn't worth it for me however. I decided to try them again this year with www.horses-america.com , and NOT ONE click I recieved from them looked at any page of my website but the home page. They all left immediatly. They were only 5 cents too, no competition, now I see why.

I found many people suggest http://www.azoogleads.com
and http://www.adbrite.com/ as alternative for Adwords which is best I think.

kanoodle has on many occasions refunded sums based on a claim of click fraud. It is rampant. One client is US based, and serves only Us. In a highly competitive category we were getting literally hundreds of clicks per day from Uraguay, Paraguay, China, Rumania, Brazil, Argentina and Chile all at around the same time of day (night for US)
Despite pleas they could not filter, just refund after I request. Not an acutal refund, mind you, just more useless traffic. They keep the ash, and give you more of the same darn clicks. (I really like this act. "Hey, your junk is no good, I want my money back. Sure! Here, have some more junk!" In-store credit only I guess.

I have dropped them for that particular client. A "real" click may be worth $5. A thousands fraud clicks aren't worth a cent. (Though I have used them to boost raw numbers, when a client did not listen to reason regarding conversion rates, versus raw visitors. They were great to get an instant 5-10,000 visitors a week. But no conversions, to prove my point.

Kanoodle traffic is no longer quality traffic right
now...

You will get bunch of clicks in just one day,
some of them were possibly click fraud.

Click fraud is a virus which has spread for years in the online advertising industry. As advertising payment systems grew from per click to CPM or commissions, click fraud seemed to be on the low for a couple of years. Enter paid search network distribution and contextual advertising and the net world was introduced to a new form of click fraud from numerous sources.

Yahoo and Google both claim they are stopping click fraud in its path with technical security measures and prosecution. But when a search marketing company takes its campaigns beyond Yahoo, Google, MSN and Ask to companies like Lycos, Findwhat, Looksmart, Searchfeed and MyGeek; it is only natural for such marketers to worry about fraudulent clicks. Hence the formation of Click Fraud monitoring services like Who’s Clicking Who and Keyword Max.

We still see some decent traffic from kanoodle search, but the content distribution (what they call "ContextTarget") has been dismal for us - too generic - so we've backed off quite a bit on that. Maybe for big B2C sites that need loads of traffic it would be fine, but for B2B software it was not a good fit.

I think kanoodle is still worth a shot for PPC search. Try their $10 free trial (some of their affiliate sites list only a $5 trial but you can find $10 trials if you look around), monitor the traffic and click quality during the trial and judge for yourself before you commit any cash to it.

Also, definitely use unique tracking links for each keyword if you can, so you can see if some keywords convert better than others. They definitely do for us.
